Grandma's Boy Review

I'm reviewing the movie Grandma's Boy starring all the guys who are usually in Adam Sandler's movies. I like the fact that Sandler is doing things behind the camera lately. You can see my rating in the bottom right hand corner.

This movie stars Allen Covert (50 First Dates, 8 Crazy Nights, Mr. Deeds, Little Nicky), Linda Cardellini (Scooby Doo, Brokeback Mountain), and Nick Swardson (The Benchwarmers, Malibu's Most Wanted)

Alex (Covert) is a 35 - 36 (he can't make up his mind) man who works as a video game tester. He is evicted from his apartment after his roommate spends all their rent money on hookers. Rob Schneider makes a cameo appearance here as Alex's landlord. Alex then goes to live with his grandmother (Doris Roberts), while he tells everyone at the office that he's living with 3 dominatrix-like women who keep him up every night. They soon find out he really lives with his grandmother and her 2 roommates.

JP, a genius when it comes to video games, steals Alex's game, which he's been working on for 2 years. It's up to Alex's grandmother to help save the game from being stolen. The game comes out later that year successfully after Alex's grandmother beats JP during a showdown.

Favourite Characters: Jeff (I want that effing race car bed!) and Dante (I love his hair...and the monkey)

Rating: 3/5 Stars
