Dog Day Afternoon (4/5: Lance hardly had any lines, but at least he got to kill a dude; Al Pacino was a dream boat in it though)

New Idea!!

So I've decided with my late night summer boredom, I'd start creating more posts to my blog. I came up with an idea while I was in the shower...I know, weird. I'm going to create a post for all my favourite actors and according to filmography, categorize the movies for my own reference.

Here's how the posts will be formatted:

*Pic of Actor/Actress
*List of filmography (copied from http://www.imdb.com .. where else?)

The movies will be categorized by the following:
*chronological order (same as IMDb)
*red text = seen it; also, with rating of 1 - 5 (1 = won't see it again, 5 = can watch over and over)
*purple text = want to see it

All of these posts will be under "Actor Filmoprofile"

*In the end, Israel is taken off protective custody because the FBI found new evidence in the case - The man they thought was a mob boss was really an undercover agent who had gotten tons of plastic surgery since the 1950's. The reason why he wanted Israel's heart was for a transplant - Israel was Sparrazza's son.

*The Carpenters
*Based on a short story by Stephen King

What I Hated:
*The acting

28 Days Later Movie Review

Cast:
Cillian Murphy as Jim
Naomie Harris as Selena

Brief Synopsis:
*We first see a group of animal rights activists trying to save the day when really they screw the whole thing up by setting free some chimpanzees infected with rage.
*We then see a hot Irishman (aka Cillian Murphy) in a hospital bed (NAKED!!) who wakes up and realizes everybody has evacuated the city due to "infected"s. He meets up with two others (Selena and some other guy who gets killed by Selena)
Anywho Jim and Selena find Frank and Hannah - Frank dies - they are taken to a military base camp type place and Jim finds out the leader is a FREAK "I promised them women"...what a psycho.
*Anyways, Jim goes psychotic and kills EVERYONE...well indirectly and directly and gets shot in the process but makes it in the end...because he's hott.

What I liked:
*The nudey scene
*The kissing/biting scene (Hannah comes in the room while Jim and Selena are kissing and thinks he's biting Selena - "I thought he was biting you" - "I was kissing her!!") lmao good times
* Jim running around with no shirt on, blood everywhere

What I hated:
*I can't think of anything right now

Fangirl moments:
*The nudey scene
*The shaving scene
*Every scene with Cillian, basically

New Format

So for the Movie Reviews, I'm making a system so that they are organized and whatnot...It's going to go something like the following:

*Picture of the movie
*Cast of Characters
*Brief Synopsis
*What I Liked
*What I Hated
*Fangirl Comments

Rose McGowan

I've always liked Rose McGowan - ever since she was in Scream...Grindhouse rekindled my love for the actress and I've now made 2 vectors of her...still not as much as Angelina, but hey, what can you do?

I've seen from Encino Man to Bio Dome to Phantoms to Jawbreaker to Ready to Rumble. The only thing I couldn't get into was Charmed..I guess I'll have to see it from the beginning.

Angelina Jolie

I don't know what Angelina Jolie movie was my first but I do remember what movie turned her into one of my favourite actresses - Hackers (I know, corny).

For the worst movie on Earth, that movie showed me how cool Angelina Jolie could be. Her hair was so awesome and her attitude was ten times hotter. Her lips were huge (well they still are) and she just ripped the thunder away from Jonny Lee Miller (who she later married...and divorced).

Anyways...she's basically the collest actress EVER!! And the only woman I consider as a "wife".

The one movie I want to see starring Angelina is "Gia"...her first big breakthrough movie about the life of a supermodel.

Gone With the Wind (Why do I keep calling them) Movie Review

Starring: Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh

So my biggest obsession at the moment is the 1939 film "Gone With the Wind" which is considered one of the greatest movies of all time.

I usually consider a movie one of my "favourites" by the following: a. I can watch the movie over and over again without getting sick of it b. I can quote it after the first time I see it. I can do both of those with this movie.

I didn't know I could watch a movie and fall in love with it in 226 minutes. This is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen and I love it so much that I started reading the book. Of course I'm only on Chapter 6 but hopefully I'll get further sooner rather than later. You know the book is long when you're six chapters in and it's only been six minutes into the movie.

Anways, I can't express how great this movie is...it just is. Go and watch it or jump off a building - it's awesome. Anyways, I'd give it 5/5 stars, that's how good it is.

Cillian Murphy

Another Actor Review - this time: Cillian Murphy

Like most people, the first time I saw Cillian was in the movie "28 Days Later" as Jim. Of course the nude scene helped me like him even more.

I then waited to see him in other films such as "Intermission" with Colin Farrell and couldn't wait to see how much he'd be in "Batman Begins".

I just saw "The Wind That Shakes the Barley", an Irish film starring Cillian. It was good but predictable. I love watching Cillian in anything no matter what he plays (ie trans-gendered to killing people infected by rage) he's good at pretty much anything.

Amy Winehouse

So my new favourite singer is Amy Winehouse. I love that she mixes old music with a new style and seeing as I love old music, why wouldn't I love Amy Winehouse?

Anyways, I love her singles: Rehab and You Know I'm No Good. I can't seem to get the song Fuck Me Pumps out of my head, so there's a new fave song. I just got finished downloading both her albums and I've noticed that her first album is a lot different from her new one. I think I like the new one more, though.

Blah!!

It looks as though I haven't posted in quite some time. I plan to post stuff soon....like new movies I've seen, new obsessions, another edition of favourite actors/actresses, etc. Whatever I can think of, basically.

I just watched all episodes of Viva La Bam to start off the summer...cuz I'm boring like that...and plan to watch everything Jackass-related...because I'm weird like that.

Anywho new stuff will be up later.

Johnny Depp

I think I first saw, and fell in love, with Johnny Depp in the movie "Edward Scissorhands". I was probably around the age of five. Ever since then, I've seen almost all and own a lot of his movies. My favourite movie is probably "Edward Scissorhands".

In grade 9, I was so obsessed with Johnny Depp that I created a Johnny Depp Night...which turned out to be a Johnny Depp weekend. We saw tons and tons of movies starring Johnny Depp.

I now own more Johnny Depp movies than any other actor or actress. I just don't want him to get any older.
